n\u2019est pas une commande, mais une recherche sur l\u2019\u00e9tude du corps dans son lien le plus \u00e9troit avec le jeu, le sport, la confrontation, un sujet r\u00e9current. Les sports de combat comme la lutte se pr\u00eatent \u00e0 cet exercice. En 2017, je reste le soir dans les salles d\u2019entra\u00eenement et dojos des banlieues de la Seine &#8211; Saint -Denis. Je photographie les c\u00e9l\u00e8bres Diables Rouges de La Briqueterie de Bagnolet, les lutteurs de Montreuil, Romainville, mais \u00e9galement de Vitry, Creil, Cr\u00e9teil. Ce travail interroge la hi\u00e9rarchie des corps et leur place dans l\u2019espace. Les diff\u00e9rents plans, les flous revisitent la profondeur de champ. Les corps sont encaiss\u00e9s comme compress\u00e9s dans une boite, ou s\u2019envolent en se lan\u00e7ant en l\u2019air, dans une chor\u00e9graphie puissante et tendre. Les couleurs nuanc\u00e9es des peaux brunes et blanches ajoutent une chaude sensualit\u00e9 tactile aux images photographiques.<\/p><p>Le sport est l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment \u00e9ducatif et performateur. Il repr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement les valeurs de la d\u00e9mocratie, mixit\u00e9 sociale et culturelle. Dans la salle d\u2019entra\u00eenement, le d\u00e9passement de soi est un perp\u00e9tuel questionnement, et l\u2019entra\u00eeneur b\u00e9n\u00e9vole et charismatique est souverain. Respecter les r\u00e8gles du jeu, le jeu dans le combat est une activit\u00e9 r\u00e9gl\u00e9e, et non-transgressive, le cercle, le rond : c\u2019est l\u2019anti trag\u00e9die : on ne conna\u00eet pas l\u2019issue. L\u2019action si elle exprime \u00ab l\u2019intensit\u00e9 moderne \u00bb valeurs fondamentales des futuristes et constructivistes russes, repousse aussi les fronti\u00e8res de la mort.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-2342\" aria-expanded=\"false\">The Wrestlers 2017 (Texts in English)<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-2342\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-2342\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p>The Wrestlers series is not a commission, but research on the study of the body in its closest link with the game, the sport, the confrontation, a recurrent subject for me. Combat sports like wrestling lend themselves to this exercise. In 2017, I stay in the evening in the training rooms and dojos of the suburbs of the Seine-Saint-Denis. I photograph the famous Red Devils of La Briqueterie in Bagnolet, the wrestlers of Montreuil, Romainville, but also Vitry, Creil, Cr\u00e9teil. This work questions the hierarchy of bodies and their place in space. The different planes, the blurs revisit the depth of field. The bodies are encased as if compressed in a box or take flight by launching themselves into the air, in a powerful and tender choreography. The nuanced colors of brown and white skin add a warm tactile sensuality to the photographic images.<\/p><p>Sport is the educational and performance element. It also represents the values of democracy, social and cultural diversity. In the training room, the surpassing of oneself is a perpetual questioning, and the voluntary and charismatic coach is sovereign. Respecting the rules of the game, the game in the fight is a regulated and non-transgressive activity, the circle: That is the anti-tragedy: one does not know the outcome.
